Idiom:it's a term consists of one word or group of words whose meaning does not match the literal meaning ... they R used in formal and in informal LG

Slang Language : it's the speech of public people ( the street LG ) so it's spoken LG .Used in informal LG

LG = language

by this we can't find a lot of slang or some idioms in BRIT ENG but in AMRE ENG

so every slang is an idiom ... but why we have to distinguish between them ???
that's because there are different idioms and slang with the same meaning
and some how idiom is written but slang more spoken

TAKE = خذ
RAIN = مطر
CHECK = فحص
so the meaning will be
خذ فحص مطر
!!!!

but " rain check " meanS
a indemnity card = بطاقة تعويض
but still the meaning isn't logical
خذ بطاقة تعويض!!!

what's up with this LG?
this'S the problem . that we don't know the METAPHORIC meaning 'coz it's not our LG

and down coz my summer holiday will finish in 11 /7
