I got this story among the books I have, and I thought to share it with you, it's one of my favorites stories x
And sorry for the bad images quality, I scanned them with my old scanner & tried to make them better in photoshop x
So I hope you like it & enjoy. . x

Little Nutbrown Hare, who was going to bed, x
held on tight to Big Nutbrown Hare's very long ears. x

xHe wanted to be sure that Big Nutbrown Hare was listening. x
x"Guess how much I love you," he said. x
x"Oh, I don't think I could guess that," said Big Nutbrown Hare . . x

x "This much," said Little Nutbrown Hare,x

stretching out his arms as wide as they could go. x

xBig Nutbrown Hare had even longer arms. x
x "But I love YOU this much," he said. x

xHmm, that is a lot, thought Little Nutbrown Hare. x

.

x"I love you as high as I can reach," said Little Nutbrown Hare ..x

x "I love you as high as I can reach," said Big nutbrown Hare .x
x That is quite high, thought Little Nutbrown Hare. I wish I had arms like that. x

Then Little Nutbrown Hare had a good idea. x
He tumbled upside down and reached up the tree trunk with his feet. x
x x "I love you all the way up to my toes!" he said. x

x "And I love you all the way up to your toes," said Big Nutbrown Hare, x
x swinging him up over his head. x

x "I love you as high as I can HOP!" laughed Little Nutbrown Hare, bouncing up and down. x

“But I love you as high as I can hope.x”

Smiled big Nutbrown Hare and he hopped so high that his ears touched the branches above.
That's good hopping, thought Little Nutbrown Hare. I wish I could hop like that. x

x “I love you all the way down the lane as far as the river,” cried Little Nutbrown Hare. x

x “I love you across the river and over the hills,” said big Nutbrown Hare.x

That's very far, thought Little Nutbrown Hare. x
He was almost too sleepy to think any more. x

Then he looked beyond the thorn bushes, x
out into the big dark night. x
Nothing could be further than the sky. x

x “I love you right up to the moon,” he said, and closed his eyes. x
x “Oh, that's far,” said Big Nutbrown hare.x
x “That is very, very far,” x

Big Nutbrown Hare settled Little Nutbrown Hare into his bed of leaves. x

He learned over and kissed him good night. x

x Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile,x
x “I love you right up to the moon and back.” x

Sometimes, when you love someone very, very much, x
you want to find a way to describe how great your feelings are. x

But, as Little Nutbrown Hare and big Nutbrown Hare
discover in this classic picture book story,x

love is not an easy thing to measure! x
