We have had great participants this time though the low number which was unfortunate
Yet, we came to enjoy the three articles we had in this contest
We, have read the English, Japanese literatures besides the anime articles of one of he best anime creators

This article was great and explains in short the amazing life of Faullner
There are few things that made it less than perfect which were the lack of a capturing introduction
and a summarizing ending as if the article was cut from the half. The information felt so formal like it was taken from another site instead of using your own language which this contest was started to improve in the first place
The language was the reason one point was deducted besides the first reason

The article in itself is great and well formed and full of knowledge and information, but the introduction should have stated the idea on anime or manga bases for those who don't know who Gosho is not to mention that the choice of the article wasn't right for it was a contest for English Literature, and Gosho Aoyama is not part of English Literature, Literature, or even English writings
The information, as in the previous article, felt like it was taken from another articles bits and pieces without having your own touch on the context. As i was long, it felt somehow boring for non-Conan fans

Kazuo has captured my attention from the moment I read the introduction which was well delivered
Though the style should have been more literary than a normal article about non-literary matter, it was great
The materilas were great and make the audience have a chance to experience what you wrote about + the summaries you provided for the writers books and stories
The language has some flaws here and there but did't affect the outcome seriously

but I have something to say about my article which was about Gosho Aoyama
You say that the choice of author wasn't right becuase he's not of english litereture , but when I read the rules of the contest you didn''t say that we just have to write about english litereture but you said write about litereture and that means whatever the work was english or not .
about the choosing of the winners , You said that the first and the second will be choosed by voters and the third by a ccommittee, but now I see the opposite , what happened ?

that what I wanted to say and I'm waiting your explaining

Whatever that Gosho does, it's not considered literature at all
The name of the forum is English forum and you can't write about French Literature for instance even though you write it in English
and that supposed to be applied to your article which was a normal article not related to English + Literature whatsoever
it was supposed to be disqualified for one simple reason (not related)l

It is like you have a contest in the anime forum for reports and some one writes about a tv show + not Japanese for example

The only reason I accepted the article because of the very low number participants and the medals cannot be accepted if there are few of them

Simply by reading the Forum's rules, you will know that I don'y need to mention something like this as it applies to every thread there is under the English forum even if I wrote it or any other moderator and the previous example of the anime forum should be enough here

The Judging
if you remember, I said that we will give only the first two winners the medals and we might give the third a medal if and only if we have more participants. Though we had only three, that means the third shouldn't get one, but I decided that your hard work deserved though it was in the wrong place

We can't provide medals for a contest where the highest vote was only=7
It is impossible for the administration to accept that unless there was an involvement by the judges to rule the articles and that was also a result of the low number of participants which affected a whole a lot of things like stopping the whole contest, yet I took the risk and allowed it to continue for you guys

I judged your article based on the following criteria

Language = 2/3
Choice of topic = 0/2
Content = 1/3 << it was supposed to be zero as it's not related
Look and Arrangement = 2/2
