    Thumbs up ▲▲Situational Dialogues/ Part 02▲▲

Peace Be Upon All Of You
How are you brothers and sisters, ca va?^ ^, it's pleased me to present the 2nd topic about situational dialogues, in fact I decided to put it here yesterday(Wednesday) but some conditions unfortunately forbade that, anyway, I wish you enjoy reading it and make use of it and make sure there're other Dialogues waiting for you but they need to see more action till probably could be some reaction^ ^ as a result and all the best
    At Lunch
    (I)
A: You must have some more chicken.1
B: No, thanks. I'm supposed to be slimming.1
    A: Can't I tempt you?1
B: Well, maybe I could manage a very small piece.1
    (II)
A: Wouldn't you like to finish up the omelette?1
B: No, really, thank you. I just couldn't eat anymore.1
A: Come on now. Surely you can manage it.1
B: No, thank you, really. I must have put on pounds as it is.1
    (III)
A: Another piece of meat pie?1
    B: No, thanks, really. I'm on a diet.1
    A: Please do. You've hardly eaten anything.1
    B: It's delicious, but I don't think I ought to.1
    (IV)
A: Do have the rest of the nashed potato.1
B: No, thank you. I've had too much already.1
A: Just take it to please me.1
B: Ok, but only a small piece or I shan't have room for any pudding.1

    Finding a Job
    (I)
A: Have you any vacancies for full-time staff?1
B: What did you have in mind?1
A: Something in the domestic line*.1
    B: Have you any experience?1
A: No, I'm more or less straight from school.1
    B: I can't promise anything, but I'll do my best.1
*In the domestic line: connected with domestic work
    (II)
A: I was wondering whether you needed any part-timers.1
B: What were you thinking for?1
    A: A hotel job of some sort.1
B: Have you ever done anything similar?1
    A: Not so far, no.1
B: There is nothing at present, but look back in a week
    (III)
A: I'm looking for a job where I can live in
B: What exactly did you want?
    A: I wouldn't mind* working in a pub
B: Have you done anything like that before
A: Well, I once did a bit of waiting
B: Fill in this form and I'll let you know if anything turns up
    *I wouldn't mind: I would rather like
    (IV)
A: Can you fix me up with a part-time job
B: Anything in particular that appeals to you?1
A: I was rather hoping to find something in a school
B: Have you done that kind of thing before?1
A: Yes, I was doing the same job last summer
B: I might be able to help you , but I'd need references
