Why Should I Forget The Past

People have always been saying " Put the past behind your back " , " do not turn back " ..
They always say :" If you want to succeed and start anew , forget the past .."
why should I forget the past ??
why should I throw the most important part of my life behind me ?!
So What is the past ?
..............
The past indicates those people who will never come back ..
Those whom I met once but never forgot ..
Those whom I loved forever ..
...........
The past is a happy sad moment has gone forever

The past is the precious store of beautiful memories where you feel as if you were in a dream from which you never want to wake up..
........
The past is the treasure that must be kept forever in one's heart..
If the past was not that important , history would never exist ,
The past is a source of inspiration ..
The past is a source of strength ..
I will never forget my past.. I will never be a traitor
I will live my present … I will keep going

for me it's really painful to forget it but just like you said people says " Put the past behind your back " , " do not turn back " ..

They always say :" If you want to succeed and start anew , forget the past you know something they are right on the nose because if you turn back you will remember sad things happened to you and you will be not able to know your path in this life that’s if you have sad memories I just don’t want to forget my past because one thing I will take my revenge from some people I know them they ruined my life maybe your past was full of happiness because you don’t want forget it but you know that all the people aren’t the same like some of them can't forget their past cuz some reasons and some of them throw it away just like nothing happened or nothing special and some of them keep it in their heart because it is like a treasure just like mentioned before at the end I'm with you in this point the past shouldn't be forgets ……..j

I believe that we should forget the past, and drop

Everything behind.. cos sometimes

The past could kinda deadly nightmares

And may turn ur life to be miserable..

welcome all, welcome my sis azuma, about ur topic(the past) I think it is good in things and bad in other things,it is good because it is remember me in good times and my childhood and make me happy and give me the hopeful to continue and it is bad beauuse it is remember me in bad times and some my problems that make me sad and pain me but this is problem give me the energy and power to challenge the problem in future and never give up, both state of past useful us for make our life beautiful, thanks my sis for put my pic with other my friends, this is feel me that I am really became part from this team of EF, I am happy for that and peace be upon you

the man must not forget the past either it was fullof success or mistakes

if his past full of mistakes so he could correct these mistakes and learn from it

if his or her past full of success he/she must remeber his/her success and how great he/she was and continue the way to insist to be more better

if we have awful past ... full of mistakes
we should thank Allah that we are capable of passing these difficulties,
however if we have a beautiful past .. we feel proud of remembering it... and it's really like a beautiful dream to remember your beutiful past... so we should thank Allah and keep going to avhieve more success in our lives

Oh - u said PAST !!!
in my simple own way , i divide the past for two parts

1- Good past 2- Bad past

i will never forget the good things , beautiful situations i walked through , the funny moments i had , some successful things i did
NO WAY to forget these things

<Bad>
sometimes , i am serious to forget some bad things had happened in the past , cuz i feel badly, sadly when remember them , it just makes me remember some wrongs i did, i am serious to forget my mistakes

I use my past to take a sermons and lessons , to correct my doings in future

it's my opinion !!
