is it suitable for a paper (research paper) to have a title and a short running title ??
what is the use of the short running title when there's a title ???
am editing a paper and don't know what to do.. should i omit the short one or leave it ??
The short title usually specify the specific goal of the research
for example:l
Car accidents: an easy method to prevent them
The main title is; Car Accidents
That's the general idea
The specification or the field (focus) f the study is; ways to prevent them
So, it's okey
that's what I know

jst there's another line in the 1st one !!
so it's not shorting in the meaning but in the size !!!
should i put a short title from my own ?

لا بد تكون المعاني أكثر من كلمة، صعبة شرح كلمة بأخرى لأنه لا تفهم الكلمة المقابلة وتكون مجرد رديف
وضعت المعاني التي وضعتها بالعربي مقربة، ولكن قد تعني الكلمات معاني أخرى إضافية
