Ummm, that depends

I think you can distinguish between them from the context

For this example: I like playing neither football nor music

Here you can't use neither witout nor because you don't like both of them, football and music.

But here:

Jane dosn't like cats. Neither do I.

There is one thing you don't like that is cats, so you have a choice, either you use neither alone or you use nor alone.



OK for this example: Neither leg was injured

There is one thing that isn't injured that is leg, so we use neither alone


But if we say: Neither leg, nor hands were injured

So we use neither with nor because not only leg wasn't injured the hands as well

And the same thing for either

الحقيقة يا اخوان انا عندي بعض الابيات للشعر واريد ترجمتها لكني لم اصل بعد ذاك الحد الذي يمكنني من ترجمة الشعر فارجو على من وصل باللغة الانكليزية مبلغاً ان يساعدني وانا شاكراً له,وطبعاً ترجمتها للانكليزية هو بما يوازي معنى القصيدة بالعربي لان باللغة العربية هناك كلمات غير موجودة بالانكليزي,ترجمت بيتين او ثلاثة تكفيني وانا سأكون شاكرا لمن يفعل هذا, وهذه هي الابيات:

I know it may be full of mistakes but it is just a try for translating a poem from Arabic
I tried to translate it by the meaning and my words may be a little different from the original words

انا اعرف انها تأتي قبل الاسماء

ولكن في بعض الاحيان لا تأتي

مثل

this word never ends with << الجمله ليست كامله لأني اتيت بها من قصه

لكن لماذا لم نستخدم is قبل كلمة word ؟

مع ان كلمة word تعني( كلمة) وهي اسم

مثال في استخدام is

My name is Ibrahim

هنا استخدمنا Is قبل الاسم ابراهيم

ولكن لماذا استخدمناها مع الاسم ibrahim ولم نستخدمها مع word ??


وياليت ثم ياليت تساعدوني فيها

والمساعدة الثانيه عن كيفية استخدام to

انا اعرف انها تعني حرف الجر ( الى )

لكن في بعض الاحيان تأتي قبل الفعل ويتغير معناها


مثال

to speak << معناها تحدّث ولم تأتي to بمعنى الى

to send << معناها ارسل وايضا to لم تأتي بمعنى الى

يعني كلمة word اسم نكرة و تحتاج الى الى شئ نعرفها به لذلك وضعنا قبلها كلمة this
