It seems that it's wrong but this answer is the formale way to join when there is
a preposition in the sentence
the informal :1
The map which we missed the way without was in Ali's bag<<<<this easier

The explanation for the formal one

the rule is to see if there is a prepsition in the second

sentence and here we have " Without" so we firstly
put the word that reapeated in the 2
sentences " the map " and then we put the preposition
after that we put the suitable Relative clause
then we write the second sentence until we arrive the prepsition
we complete
the sentence By typing the first one without the word " the map"1

and the meaning is
Once= One time
Twice = Two times
And there is Thrice but it's not that common and not many people use it and they use three times more than thrice ..

but there is no frice or others ^^"

طيب خلنا عربي أحسن::

إذا وضعتي (a) في الجملة قبل week ذلك يعني إنك ذهبتي إلى ذلك المكان
أو صنعتي ذلك الشي مرتين في أسبوع واحد أي أنك لن تكرري ذلك الشيء في الأسابيع
الأخرى...
لكن في حال ما وضعتي (a) يمكن أن تأخذ المعنى السابق و يمكن أن تأخذ معنى العادة
يعني كأنك وضعتي في الجملة used to أو usually...
أمثلة(فبلمثال يتضح المقال)::

I went there twice a week
يعني إنك ذهبت مرتين في أسبوع واحد و أنك لم تذهبي إليه مرة أخرى بعدها أو قلها
بنفس الطريقة<< باختصار عدم وجود عدد مرات محدد أو معتاد لذهابك للمكان

I went there twice week

ممكن أن تأخذ المعنى السابق [[الأقوى لغويا]]... وممكن أن تأخذ معنى التكرار والعادة
يعني أنك إعتدتي الذهاب مرتين كل أسبوع [[ضعيف لغويا]]..لتصبح بمعنى..::
I used to went there twice every week


أشعر إني زدتها تعقيد ..إلي من الإخوان فهم يشرح

yes there are some words like ""raster""
it`s have not a direct translate to Arabic but it`s mean straight lines or scanning
lines so it`s will be mean::

خطوط المسح

but in English dictionaries like Oxford ,easy lingo,Dic 32....etc, there is no translate
to it .

but why.... I think""but I`m not sure""" because it`s a terminology which Specialize
in an area of work for example
raster

a terminology of graphic world

there's alot of difficult words in english.. I can't think of one now

but most words are difficulte to transulate cuz it depends on the place it is in the sentence

so when u have the word alone you cannot trasulate it, and you have to have the whole sentence to know what it means exactly..

it would be easier if you have an example..

I wish i gave you a little help there

you are asking about present ( simple , continious , perfect ) or just present perfect

if so ,alright i will try

Present perfect
Used :
to describe a recent event*
(( لوصف حدث حدثَ قريباً ))

e,g : your teacher asks you to write a paragraph during the class
so , when you finish writing you say :

i have just finished
because you have finished it just a few minuts

.............................

مثال : أثناء الدرس قد يطلب منك المعلم كتابة تعبير إنشائي و عندما تنتهي تخبر المعلم أنك انهيت للتو من الكتابه وفي هذه الحالة تكون قد استخدمت present perfect لأنك وصفت حدث وقع للتو فبل لحظات أو ثوان .

and there are some words used to indicate that tens
( just, already, yet, recently, lately, never..before )
i have just finished
............
مثال آخر:
It has just stopped raining
which means
, توقف المطر للتو ...
...........................................

also present perfect is used
when there is a connection with now. The action in the past has
a result now

كذلك نستخدم المضارع التام عندما يكون الحدث مرتبط بالحاضر، بمعنى أن الحدث الذي حصل في الماضي، لا تزال آثاره ظاهرة الآن

مثال:
He told me his name but I've forgotten it
I can't remember it now

لقد اخبرني باسمه ولكنني نسيته
لا استطيع تذكره.

وهكذا النسيان في الماضي ، ولكن أثرالنسيان لا يزال إلى الآن

مثال اخر:
i have lost my key
لقد أضعت مفتاحي

ضياع المفتاح حصل في الماضي ، ولكن أثر هذا الضياع باقٍ إلى الآن ولا زلت أشاهد آثاره .
