Once upon a time, back in late 1880s. A young man fell in love, and no one could separate them from each other, but one day, he made the biggest mistake in his life which was letting the one he loved go.

From that day, he never stopped writing the letters regretting the fact he was the reason his love left him all alone.

At the end, he decided to let go of the past and search for the next one.

And here, I'll show you his last letter,

In case you couldn't read the above old letter
here is a modern one that was imitated by one of his fans ^_^
but unfirtunately, he/she forgot to change (BIRD) with (CAT)

you might have noticed some spelling mistakes

The Goodbye Letter

Here I am, sitting here as I always do
Waiting for you to show up
I have been for a long time
Not just today, but everyday
Everyday since that day
The day when i set you free
How stupid was I to let you go?l
Where are you now?l
I am writing my last letter to you
Because as from tomorrow.l
you will be forgotten
You will be a history to me,l
though I am going to miss you a lot
I am going to miss you so much
The image of that day will never leave my mind
and will never stray away from my chain of thoughts
Tomorrow, I will get a new one
So, goodbye my love
Goodbye my long life friend
Goodbye my.....l

As a result of being so much deep in love with his bird, that man failed to forget and couldn't find happiness with any other bird he ever bought after that.l

So, he died with sorrow and a broken heart.l
