ويشار إلى أنه تم العثور على العش المتحجر الذي يحتوي على خمس بيضات في تسعينيات القرن العشرين، وتم الاحتفاظ به في مؤسسة كندية للأحافير في ألبيرتا، ويعد العش والبيوض الموجودة فيه الأقدم لفصيلة الديناصور آكل اللحوم "ثيروبو" التي عاشت ما قبل 150 مليون سنة، أي إلى الحقبة الجوراسية.
