حسناً لا بأس سأدلي بدلوي
أخي مجهول المشاعر الكلمات التي تسأل عنها تدخل ضمن ال phrasal verb
........................................
طيب ماهي ال phrasal verb ؟؟؟
هي عباره عن الفعل الأصلي زائد حرف الجر بحيث تشكلان معاً معنى جديد مختلف عما كان عليه الفعل قبل الإضافه.
A phrasal verb is a verb plus a preposition or adverb which creates a meaning different from the original verb.
....................................
مثال:
He ran away when he was 15.
واضح ان الphrasal verb هي هنا run away
كلمة run وحدها تعني يركض
وكلمة away وحدها تعني بعيداً
ولكن اختلف المعنى عندما اجتمعت run away
بمعنى هرب
.........................................
ومعنى الجملة
He ran away when he was 15.
run + away = leave home
أنه هرب من المنزل أو غادره بالمره عندما كان في الخامسة عشره من عمره
...................................
أمثله
give up
get up
watch out
figure out
find out
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
figure out:
"I can't figure Margie out. Sometimes she's very warm and friendly and sometimes she acts as if she doesn't know me."
من المثال السابق نلاحظ شيء مهم فيما يتعلق بهذه الأفعال:
*Some phrasal verbs are intransitive. An intransitive verb cannot be followed by an object
بعضها يكون فعل لازم أي لا يتبعه مفعول
He suddenly showed up
"show up" cannot take an object
...................................
* Some phrasal verbs are transitive. A transitive verb can be followed by an object
.والبعض متعدي يتبعه مفعول به
I made up the story.
"story" is the object of "make up"
......................................
* Some transitive phrasal verbs are separable. The object is placed between the verb and the preposition.
وفي حال الافعال المتعديه , بعضها يتم الفصل بينها وبين حرف الجر بوضع المفعول بينهما
She looked the phone number up.
..........................
*Some transitive phrasal verbs are inseparable. The object is placed after the preposition.
وبعض الأفعال المتعديه تكون على العكس من السابقه
اي لا يمكن فصلها عن حرف الجر
They are looking into the problem
.....................................
*Some transitive phrasal verbs can take an object in both places
بينما يمكن لبعضها احتمال الحالتين أي يجوز فصلها أو وصلها مع حرف الجر
I looked the number up in the phone book.
I looked up the number in the phone book
..........................
انتباه!
* Although many phrasal verbs can take an object in both places, you must put the object between the verb and the preposition if the object is a pronoun.
بالرغم من ان بعض الافعال يمكن ان تحتمل الحالتين من الفصل ألا انه يجب الفصل بين الفعل وحرف الجر أذا كان المفعول به ضمير
:
I looked the number up in the phone book.
I looked up the number in the phone book.
I looked it up in the phone book. correct
I looked up it in the phone book.
incorrect
اتمنى اني افدتك
