but
I do a job:
I think it's the same meaning
I have a job that I do but not now it's an overtime activity

I do my job is correct grammar-wise

You can say it alone with an intention to say something after,( but you don't have to say it sometimes)

for example

I do my job without anyone's help
or
How I do my job...
^^^^^ here you had to say the rest of the sentence


But if you don't say anything before or after , I do my job will mean
I do my job right/well/honestly
