Hey Guyz , how's everyone doing !?

First of All i want to thank everyone who puts efforts in this thread ~

Second of all , i was Translating Some manga and i came cross a word that i didn't Get ...

The Sentence is :

Raikage's Synapses Fire As Fast As a Flash ,

Note : Raikage is the Character name don't mind it =)

What i don't Get here is the : Synapses Fire , i Translated it with Google but it didn't make any sense ...
Help will be very appreciated =)
